I am getting an error message ‘Please enter a valid SRN for which online payment is applicable’ after entering the SRN. What does this mean?

This error is shown in case the entered SRN belongs to a transaction for which payment is not applicable. Verify payment facility is available only in respect of SRNs for which payment is applicable and which are having payment status as ‘Not Paid’ or ‘Waiting for payment’.

How can the stakeholder avail the SMS Alert Facility?

This facility is available for both, new and registered users.

Kindly follow the below mentioned steps to register for the SMS Alert Facility:
For New User :-
** Click on “New User Registration” link available on the home page of MCA21 Portal.
** Fill the required fields and click the radio button “YES” along with the field “Whether you wish to avail SMS alert facility”.
** Provide your Mobile Number in the field “Mobile”.
** Click on “Create My Account” button to submit the details.

For Registered User :-
Case I :
** Log into MCA21 Portal.
** Click on the link “Register for SMS Alerts”.
** Click the radio button “YES” along with the field “Whether you wish to avail SMS alert facility”.
** Provide your Mobile Number in the field “Mobile”
** Click on “Update” to save the details.
Case II :
** Log into MCA21 Portal.
** Click on the link “My Profile” and then “View/ Update mobile number”.
** A new window will open asking for “Whether you wish to avail SMS alert facility”. Select the radio button “YES” besides the field.
** Provide your Mobile Number in the field “Mobile”.
** Click on “Update” to save the details.

How do I find the CIN of the company?

You can find the Corporate Identity Number (CIN) by entering the company name or registration number in the Find CIN/GLN page under Other Services tab on homepage of MyMCA portal.

How do I track the status of the filed complaint?

Using the SRN you can track the status of the complaint. You can track the status through the 'Track Complaint Status' link available under the 'Investor Grievances' on the MCA portal.

How do I view Public Documents?

The access to public records pertaining to a company is provided from MyMCA portal to any citizen who wishes to view the same. This feature is available after login. You will need to select the company and the documents available under each category will be shown. You may opt to make a payment and view the company documents thereafter. The documents can be viewed from anywhere without visiting the specific RoC office, using the ‘My Documents’ tab available after you log into the portal. After the payment is received by MCA, you can view the documents during the next 7 days for a maximum of 3 hours.

Is there any fee for filing Form FTE?

Yes, applicant is required to file an application in the prescribed Form FTE along with prescribed fee of Rs. 5,000/-

How can I apply for a Company Name?

File e Form 1A by logging in the portal along with a payment of fees of Rs.1000/- and attaching the digital signature of the applicant proposing to incorporate the company.Please note that in case of new companies,where e-form 1A has been certified by a practising professional,the name will be made available by the system online to the applicant without backend processing by the Registrar of Companies (ROC).This facility is not available for applications for change of name of existing companies or for cases where the form is not certified by a practising professional in case of new companies.

Also, refer the Name availability guidelines, 2011 issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs in this regard.
