DEPARTMENTAL OVERVIEW :
Financial Accounting comprises approximately 900 staff globally. Financial Accounting is the department with overall responsibility for the books and records of the firm.
Credit Suisse Non-Traditional Product is an investment company based in Nassau, The Bahamas. The company deals in Structure Investment Products. Total balance sheet size is more than US$1.8bn – comprising mainly of structured notes and debt & equity securities.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE :
** Recording the transactions relating to cash, investment, structured notes, receivables and payable and production of the month end trial balance.
** Production of the monthly and year-end US GAAP Financial Statements in the PeopleSoft general ledger. This includes P&L, BS. Additionally insuring that the general ledger balances upload into the Swiss reporting module (ADAC) correctly.
** Population of the monthly, quarterly and yearly disclosures in to ADAC including the detailed explanation of significant balance moves.
** Production of the annual IFRS GAAP published financial statements.
** Controlling and presenting the IFRS to US GAAP differences.
** Understanding the entity numbers and preparing the analytical review.
** Ownership of key controls supporting the General Ledger and other reporting applications.
** Reconciliation of FA owned account ownership balances.
** Remediation of the account ownership and inter-company breaks.
** Assist with ad-hoc projects to improve processes within the FA line for both US GAAP and IFRS
** Assist with implementation and testing of new processes/systems in FA
** Liaising with AM finance team and counterparts on an ad-hoc basis
** Liaising with auditors on queries
