ASSESSMENT PARAMETERS
Candidates admitted to the diploma courses are required to appear in the in-house mid term examination to be conducted by the Institute during 21.2.2011 to 4.3.2011. Annual examinations are held on All India basis by the National Council for Hotel Management during the May every year. After the annual examination the trainees are required to undergo industrial training of six months duration.

THE INSTITUTE
Institute of Hotel Management, Faridabad is a Registered Society, and is an autonomous body under Department of Tourism, Govt. of Haryana. It has been set up for coordinated growth and development of hospitality education and training in the country. The Institute was established in the year 1989 as Food Craft Institute and started functioning from August 1989. It has been up-graded as Institute of Hotel Management since July 2009. The institute is located adjacent to famous Badkhal Lake Tourist Resort, and is easily accessible by rail and road.
