2006 Till date : Nigeria Independent Petroleum Company (NIPCO) plc. Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Project Office, Benin City.
Principal Engineer (Pipeline).
Project and Technical Roles in the Development of Onshore Gas Distribution Pipeline Network and Facilities. Activities include :
- Survey : Co-ordinating and supervising preliminary survey for laying pipeline.
- Permit : Identifying modalities for laying pipeline, preparing and processing application for obtaining permit to survey (PTS), Pipeline license (OPL), Laying/Crossing Permit from Relevant Agencies DPR Ministry of Works at all levels etc.
- Participate in EIA, JV, MOU and GSPA processes with relevant agencies e.g. NNPC, of Ministry of Environment etc.
- Explore various Contractors (Pipeline, Third Party Inspection Agency’s etc), Tendering/Bid Evaluation and contractor’s selection, Interface and management.
- Material Handling (Line pipes, facilities, Tubes, Fittings etc).
- Construction, Testing & Commissioning of 6” X 7.5KM Gas Pipeline from NGC 36” ELP Transmission line to Guinness Brewery Plant, Benin City Including Hot Tap of 6” on 36” ELP.
- Co-ordinating and supervising the Construction (including River, Moat and Road Crossing by HDD), Testing & Commissioning of 8”, 4” & 2” Gas distribution Pipeline Network and Facilities with the primary contractor.
- Ensure Quality Control criteria as set out by the relevant standards were met.
- Cost control - monitoring the cost of the project from start-up through to completion and ensuring projects were completed on schedule and within budget.
- Co-ordinating and supervising the Installation of Pressure Reduction, Filtration and Metering skid’s and Above Ground Fabrication to Equipments (Compressors, Generators etc).
- Operation and maintenance (including sectional replacement) of Pipeline & Facilities.
- Co-ordinating and supervising the Construction, Testing & Commissioning of 8”, 4” & 2” Steel Underground and Aboveground gas Plant piping Including Hot Tap of 6” on 22” Gas Pipeline and 4” MDPE pipeline for low pressure applications at West African Ceramics Limited, Ajaokuta, Kogi State.
- Interface on Community Affairs.
