MCL operates the completely automatic, state-of-the-art RMC plant near Chennai, which adopts technology supplied by Stetter, West Germany.

'Ramco Research and Development Centre' set up in 2002, aims to foster research in the areas of cement technology and construction practices. The centre has the state-of-the-art laboratory and allied facilities.
