My job responsibilities include :
- Design of Rugged products Qualified to DEFENCE MILITARY,ARMY,NAVY STANADARD testing’s like EMI/EMC and Environmental testing’s like temperature, ingress protection, vibration, shock etc…
- Design of Rugged systems, workstations, Rack mount Panel PC’s and network devices and many other chassis used for electronic packaging, which have a broad application in defense/aerospace/marine & telecom.
- Preparing of 3D conceptual Models for customer approval.
- Communicating with the customer for layout/design change and making the Design approval
- Preparing the bill of materials and other relevant documents for the production process to carry on.
- Collecting the Quotations and finalizing the vendors.
- Making fabrication drawing’s using CAD/CAM tools like SolidWorks.
- Interact with sales teams to understand customer application requirement and recommend most optimum engineering solutions.
- Accountable for quick turn around and error free Engineering documentation in meeting customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Support manufacturing plant resolving technical issues.
- Support Custom Product Engineering process documentation activity.
- Initiate actions to improve existing process to achieve better quality and productivity.
