APPLICATION INVITING FOR ENGAGEMENT OF CONTRACT BASIS COACHES IN A&N STATE SPORTS COUNCIL

The A&N State Sports Council invites application from eligible candidates for coaches purely on Contract basis for initial period of 06 months. The coaches selected for the A&N State Sports Council would be posted anywhere in A&N Islands. The coaches will be selected for the following discipline:
1. Football
2. Athletics
3. Volley ball
4. Badminton
5. Kabaddi
6. Table Tennis
7. Taekwondu
8. Hockey
9. Swimming (Female)
10. Cricket

Number of Coaches : 10 (subject to variation depending on work load)
Remuneration : Rs. 16000/- per month (Consolidate remuneration)
Age : For male 18-33 yrs. For female 18-38 yrs

Educational qualification :
i) Essential – Diploma in Coaching from SAI, NS, NIS Patiala OR any other recognized Indian / Foreign University. OR
Participation in Olympic / Asian Games/ World Championship in the Discipline Concern with a Certificate in coaching. OR
Secondary School Examination from recognized board or equivalent with certificate in coaching alongwith participation in National Level Championship and Securing 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in the discipline concern.

Duties and responsibility :
i) To impart training to the Sports Persons of different level.
ii) To conduct talent search programme.
iii) To maintain all related records relating to selection and imparting training to Sports persons.
iv) To render service in connection with maintenance of concerned sports infrastructures.
v) To accompany teams in different level of tournaments.
vi) To perform additional duties as and when assigned by the senior officials of the A&N SSC.
