1 Scholarships are awarded to the students passing out classes VII, VIII, IX, X and XI and continuing their studies in VMHSS, Surapet.

Mid Term Test: 20%
Qly & H.Y.Exam: 30%
Annual Exam : 40%
Total :100%
3 Minimum % marks for consideration : 95%
4 Attendance: Minimum 95%
5 No weightage for missed tests and exams
6 Discipline and behaviour must be V.Good and certified by the Class Teacher and the HM

SCHOLARSHIP GALORE
1 Dr.M.S. Swaminathan Scholarship Award: Students who get state rank in Higher secondary Examination are entitled for Free Education in Velammal Engineering College. This scholarship is worth of Rs.5 Lakhs,
2 Students getting a total of more than 1050 out of 1100 marks and state rank holders in the Matriculation Examination are given Free Education in classes XI and XII.
3 Gold Ring: Since 1997, in memory of Dr.M.S.Giri, a “4 Grams Ring” is presented to the School Topper in the Matriculation Examination by Dr. Hanumantha Rao, Proprietor, Giri & Co.

Muthuramalingam Talent Quest:
4 36 - Scholarship amount of Rs. 1000/- totaling to Rs. 36,000/- are awarded to three deserving in each class from standard I to IX.
5 Gold Coins are given for the students who Score Centum or equal marks to State Rank level in Matriculation examinations for each subject.
6 Gold coin is given to the teacher, who creates centum in concerned subject.
7 Gold coin is awarded to the teacher, who produces State Ranks.
8 Gold Coin is awarded to all the teachers handling X and XII, if they produce centum result in the Public Exam.
9 Gold Coin is awarded to the teachers and non teaching staff who secure 100% attendance in an academic year.
10 Gold Coin is awarded to the teaching and non-teaching staff who have completed 5 years of service in our institution.
11 Rs.5,000/- is gifted to the staff who have completed 10 years of service in our institution.
12 Staff who have completed 5 years of service in any of the Trust schools will be eligible for their wards’ free – education.
