This is in pursuance to the directions of the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi vide Order dated 24-05-2011 in W.P.(C) 3566/2011 titled as Chairman, DSSSB & Anr. Vs. Yogesh Lohchab & Anr.The brief facts of the present case are that the applicant Sh. Yogesh Lohchab, Roll No. 00110560, had appeared in the examination of Junior Engineer (E&M) in DJB under post code 001/09 held on 21-06-2009. He secured 106/200 marks in the examination. He had got more marks than the last selected candidate under the OBC category and was covered under the zone of consideration in OBC category but could not be selected as he was not having the requisite experience of 02 years after completion of Diploma.
Hence, he was declared as ‘Non eligible’ and his candidature for the said post was rejected.Now, in compliance of the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi order dated 24-05-2011 in WP (C) 3566/2011 titled as Chairman, DSSSB & Anr. Vs. Yogesh Lohchab & Anr.,the petitioner i.e. Sh. Yogesh Lohchab is hereby provisionally selected and recommended for appointment to the post of Junior Engineer(E&M), Post Code-001/09 in the DelhiJal Board, in the pay scale of Rs. 5000-8000 (Pre-revised).

The selection of above mentioned candidate shall further be subject to fulfillment of all the eligibility conditions as prescribed by the statutory RR’s and terms and conditions of advertisement as indicated in the advertisement inviting applications and also subject to thorough verification of his identity with reference to his photographs, signature/handwriting etc. on the application form, admission certificates etc. The candidature of the candidate is liable to be cancelled by the user department also, in case the candidate is found not to be fulfilling the eligibility conditions or due to any other genuine reason. The Competent Authority of the department concerned shall issue the appointment letter to the candidate after satisfying themselves of his eligibility as laid down in the recruitment rules and on verification of the correctness of the information/documents as furnished in the application form. Mere inclusion of name in the result notice does not confer any right upon the candidate over the post.

The result has been processed keeping in view the eligibility conditions regarding educational qualification/caste certificate as on cut off date i.e. 03-03-2009.
The user department shall also get the OBC certificate verified from the issuing authority before his appointment. Further, it may also be verified that the candidate does not belong to the persons/sections(Creamy layer) mentioned in column 3 of the Schedule to the Govt. of India, Department of Personnel and Training O.M. No. 36012/22/93-Estt.(SCT) dated 08-09-1993, O.M.No. 36033/3/2004-Estt(Res) dated 09-03-2004 and O.M.No.36033/3/2004-Estt(Res) dated 14-10-2008.While every care has been taken in preparing the results, the DSSSBreserves the right to rectify errors and omissions, if any.This issues with the prior approval of the Competent Authority of DSSSB.
