Job Description
--The candidate should be B.E/B.Tech/Diploma (Mechanical) with MBA in Material Mgmt.
with 8-12 yrs of exp. in procurement/Purchase preferably from Construction/Engg./Manufacturing Industry.
--Rates Negotiation, Preventive measures, Stock Preservation Techniques, Procurement of Material, Vendor Management, Pricing policies, Purchase Orders Mgmt, Timely Delivery, Transportations, Reconciliation of construction material, equipments & Spares.
--Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and to determine product availability and terms of sales pertaining to construction.
--Processing requisitions and purchase orders for supplies & equipment.
Review purchase order claim.
--Should Posses knowledge in Forecasting & Planning Procurement as per Project Schedules.

Desired Profile
--B.E/B.Tech/Diploma (Mechanical) with MBA in Material Mgmt. Proven Leadership, Interpersonal Skills, Auditing Skills, Knowledge of latest stores practices.
--Total Experience 10+ Yrs with relevant experience in Construction Industry for at least 8-10 Yrs.
--Responsible for Overall Procurement, Purchasing, Contracts, Supplies, Materials, Plant & Machinery Involved in Infrastructure Projects with Proven Track Record in Procurement, Purchasing in a leading establishment.
--ERP/SAP exposure is an added advantage.
--Reporting to - AGM (Purchase)
