    FAQ's on Jnana Fellowship
    Is a scheme launched by Department of Higher Education & Karnataka Jnana Aayoga. This is expected to increase meaningful and sustained interface between public system and citizens.

    Who can apply for Jnana Fellowship?:
    Any citizen fulfilling the following eligibility criteria:-
    ** Professionals in the age group of 28-40 years with experience of 5 years.
    ** Knowledge of speaking and reading Kannada is preferable.
    ** Graduation in any discipline. Professionals with higher qualifications are welcome.
    ** Commendable professional track record with demonstrated social orientation.
    ** Desire and passion to work with the Government system.
    ** People from private organisations, institutions, corporates and NGOs.
    Self-employed and homemakers, fulfilling the above criteria, can also apply.

    What is the duration of the Jnana Fellowship?
    The duration is of minimum 6 months. To a maximum of one year.

    Will a Jnana Fellow get a job after the completion of the term of the Scheme?
    No. This is a short term assignment with a particular Department. The duration of Jnana Fellow would be from 6 moths to 1 year. Neither the Commission nor the Government will be responsible in giving or getting a job to the candidates after the completion of the term.
