Applications are invited from qualified and eligible MALE CANDIDATES for recruitment to the post of Assistant Lineman in Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited.

Composition of posts :
A) For the candidates possessing a pass certificate of 18/24 months course in “Electrician” trade from Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) recognized by the Government of Karnataka
B) For the candidates possessing pass certificate of 18/24 months course in “Electronics/ Electronic Mechanic” trade from Industrial Training Institutes recognized by Government of Karnataka.

Other Qualifications :
i) Should have knowledge of Kannada in reading and writing.
ii) Should have normal eye sight.
iii) Should have satisfactory physical fitness and shall qualify in the Endurance Test.

Application Fee :
1) Rs. 400/- (Rupees Four Hundred only) in respect of candidates belonging to General Candidate and Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB.
2) Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST Category.

Submission of Application :
a) Applications should be submitted “ONLINE” by logging on to BESCOM website at bescom.org. Applications will not be accepted by any other mode.
b) The application shall be submitted in time from12.12.2011 to 11.01.2012 till 17.00 Hrs.
c) Candidates are allowed to apply only once and application once submitted cannot be altered under any circumstances.
d) After applying, the candidates should obtain the Bank Challan generated online and pay the requisite application fee along with applicable bank charges in any of the branches of Canara Bank.
e) In case, the candidates fail to pay the fees after submitting the application, their applications will not be considered.

Special Note :
• Candidate who pays the requisite application fee, by obtaining ‘Bank Challan’, during the Banking hours between 12.12.2011 to 11.01.2012 after submitting the application through ‘On-Line’ only such applications will be considered for recruitment.
• The application fee paid before or after the NOTIFIED DATE, such candidate`s application will not be considered for recruitment purpose and the amount paid will not be adjusted or refunded under any circumstances.
