Job Description
- Handles a high volume of outbound telephone calls daily regarding Collection, other issues, and performing research as needed.
- Advises borrowers of their responsibility under the loan contract and counsels them regarding the budgeting of payments.
- Processes payments, collects past due balances, solicits late charge fees, and educates borrowers on Option One's payment options and the importance of credit worthiness. Also responsible for maintaining full compliance with FDCPA.
- Responds to customer correspondence, requests, and inquiries efficiently, while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Identifies and acts upon opportunities to offer alternative solutions where appropriate, with the objective of retaining the customer's business (Portfolio Retention).
