Applications are invited from qualified and eligible MALE CANDIDATES for recruitment to the post of Assistant Lineman in Gulbarga Electricity Supply Company Limited (GESCOM).

Composition of posts :
A) For the candidates possessing a pass certificate of 18/24 months course in “Electrician” trade from Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) recognized by the Government of Karnataka

B) For the candidates possessing pass certificate of 18/24 months course in “Electronics/ Electronic Mechanic” trade from Industrial Training Institutes recognized by Government of Karnataka.

Other Qualifications :
i) Should have knowledge of Kannada in reading and writing.
ii) Should have normal eye sight.
iii) Should have satisfactory physical fitness and shall qualify in the Endurance Test.

Application Fee :
1) Rs. 400/- (Rupees Four Hundred only) in respect of candidates belonging to General Candidate and Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB.
2) Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST Category.

Submission of Application :
a) Applications should be submitted strictly through “ONLINE” by logging on to GESCOM website at gescom.in. Applications will not be accepted by any other mode.
b) The Applications shall be submitted through online from 12.12.2011 to 11.01.2012 till 17.00 hrs (5.00PM).
c) After applying, the candidates should obtain the Bank Challan generated online and pay the requisite application fee along with applicable bank charges in any of the branches of Corporation Bank.
d) In case, the candidates fail to pay the fees after submitting the application, their applications will not be considered.
