Sub: Mrs.Sudha Krishnan Endowment Scholarship for undergraduate students (1st year/1st Semester) in Government/Aided Colleges affiliated to Kannur University- Applications invited-Reg

Mrs.Sudha Krishnan Endowment’ has been instituted by the Kannur University from an endowment corpus made by Sri V.Krishnan, Bekal, with a broad objective to promote and assist meritorious students belonging to financial constraint groups. The interest accrued on Endowment Corpus will be utilized to award ten numbers of Scholarships to undergraduate students (1st year/1st semester) studying in Government/Aided colleges affiliated to Kannur University.

Eligibility criteria
1. The applicant should have secured not less than 60%marks/equivalent grade in qualifying examinations (Plus two)
2. The Parent of the applicant must be fisherman by occupation. The annual income ceiling shall be Rs.36, 000/-

The applications should reach the University, along with duly completed prescribed application form, on or before 31 August, 2011.

The filled in application should be sent to the

in a cover with the superscription “Application for Mrs.Sudha Krishnan Endowment-2011”, through the Principal of the College concerned with his/her attestation and recommendation.
