• In a thermal station ,the main parts are generator, boiler,turbines,cooling towers and it includes other auxiliaries. With the advent of microcomputers,which can be used for real time applications,the monitoring and controlling of any process has become easy.
• There are many closed loop controls that are used in a thermal power station to keep every process parameter within the limits set by the operator.Boiler drum level control is important and crucial element to be monitored and controlled closely within the set limits. Otherwise, this may even cause damages to the boiler or turbine.In this report, the performance of boiler drum level control is presented.
