    A>Proactive measure to ensure the security personnels are alert throughout his duty.
    B>To avoid theft / pilferage.
    C>To avoid connivance.

    E>To ensure proper charge of duty post through handing / taking.
    F>To create team work & Team response-ability.

    3>Rounds for safety,security and intelligence built up (Objective for c.s.s.)
    ** To ensure security and safety and to collect intelligence internal as well as external. Log book has to be maintained.
    ** Intelligence the underlying aspect of security. Hence essential for proactive action and avoiding incidents.
    ** Industrial relations an important aspect :Additional information is an added advantage both for management and security agency.
    ** Information must be shared with the management by recording it in occurrence book.
    ** Confidential information should not be noted but discreetly informed.
    ** During these rounds guard posts and patrolling staff can also be monitored.

    4>Scrap yard management (Objective for c.s.s.)
    ** Ensure no scrap contractors are allowed to go near the companies vital areas.
    ** Scrap yard to be as close as possible to the main gate.
    ** If scrap yard can not be moved near to the main gate then scrap to be disposed off through the contractor should be segregated and kept aside from where the contractor can pick it during working hours only.
    ** Area must be enclosed by perimeter and entry exit controlled through gate.
    ** Scrap must be disposed off at frequent interval and not allowed to accumulate and must be removed only between 12 noon and 4 p.m.
    ** Adequate lighting should be provided.

    5>Occurrence book (Objective for c.s.s.)
    ** Blood line of security system. It drawn’ s important observations to the notice of the management for immediate corrective measures.
    ** To ensure the incidents, observations are recorded in the O.B. and should be brought to the notice of management by receiving their signature.
    ** Management should be provided with the audit and possible out comes / incidents related to it.
    ** Fixed time decided for meeting management and obtaining his signature.
    ** If management does not sign occurrence book then email from security agencies ops team (G.M./D.G.M) should be sent to the client management as an acknowledgement of the job done.

    6> Colour coding (Objective for c.s.s.)
    ** To identify the work force and are of work along with count of contractors work force.
    ** Count of people especially no. of people brought in by contractors should be recorded and appropriate color coding should be provided and maintained.
    ** Guards should be alert with the number of labourers brought in by contractors.
    ** Each department should be provided with different colour so track can be kept on the employee’s.
