    ADMINISTRATION OF DAMAN & DIU (UT):
    DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL WELFARE:
    SCHEME OF MERIT-CUM-MEANS BASED SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS
    BELONGING TO THE MINORITY COMMUNITIES:

    The Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi has fixed target for Merit- Cum-Means based Scholarship of U.T. of Daman & Diu for the year 2011-12 as given below:-

    Applications, in the prescribed format, are invited from the students belonging to the minority communities, pursuing technical or professional courses at undergraduate/ post-graduate level in an institution recognized by an appropriate authority, for merit-cum-means based scholarship for the year 2011-12 to be awarded by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India. The list of these courses and prescribed application forms may be obtained from the Director (Social Welfare), Collectorate, Dholar, Moti Daman, Daman, Phone No. 2230854 (0).

    The Application form and list of the Courses could also be downloaded from the website.
    Application, in the prescribed format alongwith requisite documents, should be submitted to the :
    Director (Social Welfare),
    Collectorate Building,
    Dholar, Moti Daman, Daman-396 220
    latest by 315 August, 2011.

    Please ensure that Bank A/C of the Student should be complete and accurate, failing which the application form is likely to be rejected.

    Sub:- Post Matric Scholarship to SC-ST (Fresh) Students for Standard XIth and onwards.

    It is to inform that the above scheme is to be continued in the year 2011-2012 also. Students whose parents/guardians income from all sources does not exceed Rs.2,00,000/-per annum of SC students which is as per revised criteria approved by GIO, Ministry of Social Justice empowered New Delhi File No.11017/01/2008-SCS-V, dated 31/12/2010 and Rs.2,00,000/- per annum of ST students as per revised income ceiling limit of parents/Guardian per annum as per guidelines issued by Ministry of Tribal affairs, GIO, New Delhi to be paid for Group I,II,III & VI.
    All the students of the same parents/guardian will entitle to receive benefits of the scheme. House rent allowance received by the parents of a students shall be exempted fro the computation of ‘income’ if the same has been permitted to be exempted for purpose of admission to courses which are continuing for more than one year.

    Few Role and Responsibilities :
    Dealing with Customer Complaints and queries
    Informing individual departments though mail regarding the complaints received on daily basis.
    Taking feed backs from each department regarding the previous days complaint status.
    Randomly cross-verifying with the customer whether their Complaints are solved.
    Taking care of the Customers registration related problems
