    CAG’s Online National Level Essay Competition Announced

    As part of the 150 years’ celebrations of the Institution of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, a national level online essay competition for the graduate and post graduate students in all the disciplines has been organized. The subject is “Role of CAG in Meeting Challenges of Good Governance.” The competition is open only for the Indian citizens who are not more than 28 years of age as on 16 November, 2011.

    The length of essay is 2500 words. The essay can be emailed to essay2011@cag.gov.in from 1 st June to 31st August 2011 till 5:00 PM. Only one entry from one student is allowed. The essay can be sent either in Hindi or in English. There will be three prizes in both the languages. The award money for the first prize is Rs. 50,000/, for the second prize Rs. 40,000 and for the third prize Rs. 30, 000/. There will also be 3 consolation prizes in both the languages amounting to Rs. 10,000/each.

    A 12 member panel has been constituted for selecting the winners.

    sir, i have been nominated as DEO in your department through combined higher secondary level exam 2010 conducted by staff selection commission.The result was declared on the month of april but yet i have not received any letter from your side. It is very painful for candidate like me to wait for letter for several months. therfore, my humble request to you kindly inform me about my current nomination status.
