Job Description
Reports to (Designation of the RO): Sr.Manager
Direct Reports: Team Leaders
Will work with team of Associates, Sr. Executives and Team Leads in getting accounting work done as per client requirements.
Job Summary
Primary Responsibility
- Managing day-to-day operations entailing Auditing of Expense Claims, Vendor Invoices for various clients.
- Monitoring team productivity and quality as per client requirements.
- People Management and counselling of Team, if required.
- Managing workload across process optimally i.e. minimise stretch, cabs and snacks,etc.
- Client Management and Communication i.e Responsible for discussing routine operations issues on calls with Client.
- Handling client escalation on priority.
- Interaction with Analysts/approvers to discuss routine matters is required.
Secondary Responsibility
- Mentoring of people to maximize common objectives i.e. tomer focus and timely delivery of work without escalations or issues.
- Ensure timely closure of Appraisal process.
- Will be required to estimate resource/time to optimize utilization of available resources i.e. Cabs/snacks/stretch etc.
- Responsible for effective & timely communication within the team to ensure that everyone is on the same page i.e. people erstands client requirements and criticalities of all the work which they are supposed to do.
- To provide quality and productivity details to MIS for process reports.
- Liasoning with support function.
- Candidate would be responsible for a large team and thus is expected to act as a mentor for all his team members to resolve people related issues as when they arise.
Specific Responsibilities
- Responsible for Team working on Auditing and tracking expense claims for 80 to 100 clients.
- Meeting Client expectation on Quality & workload by following client specific requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
Essential Skills/ Experience & Qualification:
1) The candidate should be Chartered Accountant with good academic background & interpersonal skills.
2) Experience in Accounting process and team handling of 10 to 15 people and capable in this role of managing a team of 40-50 staff.
3) Should have excellent written and communication skills
4) Working Knowledge of MS office package especially MS Excel .
5) Should be flexible with work hours.
Desired Skills/Experience & Qualification:
1) Candidates with 1-2 years of Post Qualification Experience in the same field will be preferred.
