MAIN GRANT (Upto one crore and upto 15 lakhs)
ELIGIBILITY
The applicant must be a citizen of India and must reside in the country during the period of the grant.
Only one proposal can be submitted per organization.
The applicant must be affiliated to or be part of a not for profit organization, holding a 12A Income Tax exemption
Work should be original or the origin of concept should be clearly identified in the Proposal. Copycat Proposals risk rejection of all similar Proposals.

SUBMISSION PROCEDURE
Proposals can be submitted from 30th August till 15th December, 2011.
All submissions must be made online. Those who require assistance may contact us.
Kindly read the eligibility requirements and the terms and conditions carefully before submitting your application.
Kindly follow the procedure given in the application form (Stages I & II). In stage II, applicants can provide visual aids to support their application.
All applicants will receive a username and password. This will enable the applicant to fill out the Proposal Submission at their own pace and convenience. The application cannot be changed or re-submitted once submitted.
SELECTION PROCEDURE
A jury of eminent persons assisted by an administrative team will select the grant awardees.
Those selected will be informed by 15 February, 2012.
The details of the grants award ceremony will be communicated to the recipients.

YOUNG LEARNERS & YOUNG INNOVATORS (Rs. 11,000 and 100,000)
ELIGIBILITY
The applicant(s) must be citizens of India and must reside in the country during the period of the grant.
Only two proposals can be submitted per school/junior college.
Work should be original or the origin of concept should be clearly identified in the Proposal. An undertaking must be given by the applicant certifying that the proposal/work is original. The Principal/Head of the institution must also certify the same.
While adult assistance may be reasonably given to young applicants, school authorities and parents should take care that the work is original and by the student(s).
Only bona-fide applications from school/colleges will be considered. Individual applications from students will not be entertained.
If applying for a group project, the number of team members cannot exceed five.
SUBMISSION PROCEDURE
