CSIR-Tech Private Limited is currently seeking an enterprising and dynamic professional with a proven track record and experience in technology commercialization and entrepreneurship for assuming the responsibility of CEO of CSIR-Tech Private Limited.

Required profile:
** Deep interest and aptitude for technology commercialization
** Experience in technology transfer and/or technology entrepreneurship
** Understanding of science-led and IP-rich technology development and translation
** Experience in developing business cases and raising finance from professional investors
** A familiarity of technology innovation eco-systems and mechanisms of technology transfer followed by global R&D institutions/ universities/companies.
Compensation package will be performance linked and is negotiable

About CSIR-Tech
CSIR-Tech is a company that aims to work closely with CSIR (India) laboratories to commercialize CSIR technologies and intellectual property primarily by identifying suitable spin-out opportunities, developing them further and then spinning them out as start-up enterprises. CSIR-Tech aims to leverage private investments and entrepreneurial energy to aggressively pursue technology commercialization and entrepreneurship.
Core activities

CTPL's core activities include:
** Surveying and mining of scientific capabilities and intellectual property residing in CSIR laboratories so as to identify those that can be translated into products and services of value. (Opportunity identification)
** Planning, resourcing and getting done proof-of-concept studies so as to build greater credibility for the technology opportunity (Technology de-risking)
** Drafting a business plan along with the entrepreneurial team and raising/ securing investments. (Business planning and raising finances)
** Identifying, aggregating and tying up key resources - entrepreneur, technologist, knowhow, IPR, infrastructure, strategic partners and funds (Synthesis, aggregation, agreements)
** Spin-off and supporting the nascent business through the early stages of its creation and growth (Virtual business incubation support)
** In cases identified for licensing, marketing technology packages and IP. Identifying buyers and striking deals. (Technology marketing)
