Applications are invited for filling up one post of Security Assistant from the interested candidates as per the details as under:-
Post : Security Assistant Pay Band and Grade Pay : PB-2 Rs. 9300-34,800/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- Age Limit : 28 years Educational Qualification : JCO in Army OR other Paramilitary Forces with five years experience in the work of security
Applications must be routed through proper channel, with a clear certificate that the applicant will be relieved in the event of his/her selection, within one month of receipt of offer of appointment. The incumbent of the post is liable to be transferred in the Labs./Instts. of CSIR and CSIO centres anywhere in India.
The application forms duly filled in the prescribed format affixing recent passport size photograph (on the application form) and complete in all respects accompanied by copies of mark sheets, certificates, testimonials, in support of age, educational qualifications, experience, caste as mentioned in the application, with non-refundable application fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One hundred only) (SC/ST/PwD/Regular employees of CSIR/Women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee) in the form of crossed Demand Draft valid for a period of at least six months drawn in favour of “The Director, Central Scientific Instruments Organization, Chandigarh” and payable at the Chandigarh branch of State Bank of India (Code No.1443) duly superscribed on the envelope as “Application for the Post of Security Assistant” should reach the Controller of Administration,

General Administration
- Handling all administrative activities like maintenance of office equipment’s, transport, housekeeping & maintenance of office and record keeping of office stationery.
- Liaising with Fire department, Police, NASSCOM, and OSSAC for all issues related to the IT Company & its safety.
- Administrating staff welfare mess, pantry, canteen for staff and labour.
- Looking after the company vehicles, transport services and cab movement for the associates.
- Overseeing security operations entailing regularization of visitor’s entry / exit to the premises.
Vigilance & Investigation
- Investigating cases, collecting intelligence, carrying out verification of the information, prevention / detection of crime and conducting search and seizure operation.
- Collating information during investigations and assisting in resolution of cases registered; preparing Intelligence / Investigation Reports. - Monitoring :
- Access control system, generating various reports on weekly and monthly basis and obtaining inputs from the Project Managers on the wrong door effort by the employee.
- Back up task of the CCTV and surveillance camera and having a check on the previous footage on random basis.
Training & Development
- Conceptualizing & developing training & development initiatives for improved productivity and building capability.
- Identifying training needs across levels through mapping of skills required for particular positions and analysis of the existing level of competencies.
- Organizing training programs of internal & external agencies, developing multi skills as per defined standards.
Recruitment, Resourcing & Development
- Imparting training on basic fire safety to the contract staff and to the DRR (Disaster Recovery Representative).
- Managing the recruitment life-cycle for sourcing the best talent from diverse sources after identification of manpower requirements for new / existing departments.
- Conducting security induction program for the security staff and for the new joiners in the company’s role.
