Applications are invited in prescribed format as per Annexure ‘A’ for appointment in MES for the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Storekeeper Grade-II, from Indian Citizens as declared eligible by the Government of India, Ministry of Defence

Pay Scale :
(i) Lower Division Clerk (LDC) - PB-I Rs 5200-20200 (+1900 Gde pay)
(ii) Store Keeper Grade-II - PB-I Rs 5200-20200 (+1900 Gde pay)

Minimum Qualification :
(i) Lower Division Clerk - 12th class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
(ii) Store Keeper Grade-II- 10th Class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.

Application form :- The application in the given format on A-4 size paper (210mmx297mm) typed neatly in English duly filled in should be sent to

OPPOSITE CHOPRA SHOP,
PO : GARHI, UDHAMPUR-182121 (J&K).
Only attested copies of certificates and testimonials should be attached with the application. Original copies should not be attached. Top right hand corner of the envelope for application should clearly mention “APPLICATION FOR APPOINTMENT FOR THE POST OF LDC, CATEGORY, CHOICE OF EXAMINATION CENTRE”. The applicants are required to enclose one self addressed envelope of size 220mmx100mm duly affixed along with postal stamp of Rs 27/- only.

Last date of submission of Applications :
(a) Applications complete in all respect must be received in Chief Engineer Udhampur Zone, Udhampur by 16 Dec 2011 upto 1700 Hrs.

Applications to be accompanied with two passport size latest photographs duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.
A candidate shall be admitted in written test only if he/she holds the admit card.
Candidate should bring their own writing material, pen pencil and clip board.
Candidates who qualify in written test will only be called for typing test and Interview.
Notwithstanding above, the department reserves the right to short-list the number of candidates for test.
