Spartan Spelling Bee is a school based competition and the students register for the competition only through their respective schools by submitting the prescribed registration form with the consent of their parent.
The School Level Competition will be conducted between June and February in the respective school premises by the Spartan Event Management Team.

Spartan Spelling Bee is open to school students studying from Std I to XII and it is conducted in 6 different categories.

Category I - Std I & II
Category II - Std III & IV
Category III - Std V & VI
Category IV - Std VII & VIII
Category V - Std IX & X
Category VI - Std XI & XII

Rounds
Round I - Dictation Test ( written round )
Round II
Category I - Identifying the Correct Spelling ( written round)
Category II – VI - Jumbled Word ( written round )
Round III - Word Hunt
Round IV - Oral Round

* From each category Toppers of Round I & II will be selected for Round III
* Round III participants are qualified to participate in the Zonal level competition
* Results would be announced immediately and the Toppers of Round IV (Oral Round) will be selected as School Level Winners and medals will be awarded.

Study Material : Every participant of the School Level Competition will receive a Word List Book of the respective category. The carefully prepared book will contain about 1000 plus words and its meaning and also model questions of the different rounds and its answer key. All the questions asked in the School Level Competition would be selected from the Spelling Booklet.

Registration Fee : Students who register for the school level competition will pay a registration fee of Rs.150/- each, through the respective school.

Winners of the School Level Competition will be awarded Medals

Certificates :
Winner’s Certificate : to the winners of the School Level Competition
Commendation certificate : to the Round III participants &
Participation Certificate : to all other participants

National Level
All the Participants of the Round V & VI of the State Level Competition will represent their schools in the National Level Competition which will be conducted at Chennai during the summer vacation.
All the participants who are qualified for the National level competition will be issued a separate Admit Card that contains the required information and instructions.

Registration Fee : Participants will pay a separate registration fee on the day of the event while registering for the competition.

* Trophies, Cash Prizes & Gifts to the Winners
* Medals & Gifts to the Runners-Up
* Certificates to all.
