About The Competition :
I–BIM Forum in association with Autodesk, academic partners and industry sponsors strive to provide architecture, civil engineering and construction management students the skills and tools needed to succeed in their chosen profession of delivery and maintenance of the built environment. In an effort to inspire learning through a real-world situation, organizers are challenging students to create architectural and structural designs of a Campus Wellness Centre in a major urban centre in India. Using the Autodesk BIM portfolio of Products, specifically Autodesk® Revit® Architecture and Autodesk® Revit® Structure software. Student teams (3 student’s per team) from all over India are invited to submit their innovative and sustainable designs for judging by jury of professionals, first at the Regional and then at the National level.
Regional Level Competition Prizes
Three winning teams in each region will be awarded the following team prizes:
* Regional level 1st prize of INR 20,000 with a certificate
* Regional level 2nd prize of INR 15,000 with a certificate
* Regional level 3rd prize of INR 7,500 with a certificate
The three winning Regional teams will be invited to participate in the national level competition.
National Level Competition Prizes
Three Winning teams at the National level will receive the following team prizes:
* National level 1st prize of INR 25,000 with a certificate
* National level 2nd prize of INR 20,000 with a certificate
* National level 3rd prize of INR 15,000 with a certificate
First prize winners of the National Competition will win a free trip to attend the Autodesk University 2011 in Las Vegas USA to be held from November 29, 2011 to December 1, 2011.

Submission Guidelines
Each submission must meet the following submission guidelines:
* Participants must use the provided site plan and design when creating their designs. [Link to site plan]
* Entries must include the name of the institution, name, email address, and phone number of all student team members, in addition to all other information required on the I-BIM and Student Design Challenge submittal form.
* 150 word essay describing the design, highlighting the use of BIM, and addressing the design brief
* Entries must be submitted electronically at [insert URL of page on education community].
* Entries must include all of the requested files listed below.
* Entries must be received no later than September 5, 2011
* The entry submittal form must be completed fully. Upon submission, unless otherwise agreed to in writing, all entries become the sole property of I-BIM and Autodesk.
