State Bank of India is looking for professional with suitable domain expertise to provide relevant inputs, specifically in the technical and commercial area, to enable the appraising / monitoring team to fully grasp the nuances of various assumptions, events and situations which could have an implication on the risk parameters/mitigations, pace, and impact on the actual implementation compared to project schedule and keep these Groups abreast of developments in respective sectors, at all times.

We are looking for Consultants specifically in the following sectors.

Eligibility Criteria :
Retired Senior Executives from PSUs or Equivalent not in full time employment of any company and able tomaintain an arm’s length relationship with the company / group in respect of whose project (s), services ofConsultants may be availed by the Bank.
Academic - Degree from IIT, Indian School of Mines, or other reputed engineering Colleges
Age- Not more than 65 years (as on the date of application)
Work Experience - Minimum 25 years. Ideally should have held senior positions like Executive Director, Director (Technical /Projects), Member (Technical) / Chief Engineer, Director / Head (Marketing) with technical background etc.
Competence & Skills - Fully up-to-date with current domain developments and possess hands on experience in any or all of (a) preparing project feasibility studies (b) execution and implementation of projects (c) Plant operations and also haveextensive experience in other aspects including evaluation of technologies, project contracts, commercials, dealing with various govt and other agencies, relating to the sectors specified.

b)While in MECON, Ranchi and Durgapur about nine(9) years experience in basic & detailed engineering, Turnkey Tender Scrutiny & technical recommendation in HVAC & Air Pollution Control Systems of Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP) various Modernization Packages followed by Project Management experience till commissioning & handing over of various services of large Blast Furnace Package(about Rs.600 Crores.) which comprise of large Centralized Air-conditioning for Control room building, large ESP & ID Fan with ducting for Highline Dedusting , large water supply for Blast Furnace cooling systems which include large water pumps & piping from Pump House to Blast Furnace & large Centrifugal Compressors for Blast Furnace & Slag Granulation plant, Mixed Gas Boosting station including Gas Booster ,Fire Fighting systems at site.
Apart from above at site I was also involved in trouble shooting of Air Pollution Control systems in various DSP Modernization Packages like Head end & Tail end ESP for Sinter plant, Bag Filter for Lime Calcinations plant & Dedusting system for High line Stock House For Blast Furnace No.1,2,3&4.
c)About 6 years experience in Coke Oven Battery while in Coke Oven Section , Mecon ,Ranchi from basic engineering & detailed engineering of services of Coke Oven Battery like Air Pollution Control, HVAC , Coke Quenching system through water supply, Tar ESP, etc & also involved in trial run, heating up & commissioning of Coke Oven Battery at Rourkela Steel plant& Durgapur Steel plant

- METROCHEM INDUSTRIES LTD., BARODA (Now Baroda textiles) - Erection & commissioning (for their reaction fumes, vapors and dusts of dyes) extraction system with more than 1200meterFRP ducts, 75000 CMH blowers, Pumps, Ventury-packed scrubbers, Chimney etc.
