    Positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Research Assistant (RA1), Senior Research Fellow (SRF) are available in the following projects.

    Biosciences and Bioengineering
    P(10-1) Understanding the Roles a-synuclein Oligomers in Parkinson
    JRF : (1 Post) Eligibility : Candidates should have M.Sc./M. Tech in Biology/Biotechnology with good track records in their academic career. Candidates must have qualified either CSIR/GATE and have extensive experience (minimum 1 year) in mammalian cell culture techniques, optical microscopy and gene cloning. Further, expertise in the area of protein biochemistry will be preferred.
    Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.16000/- p.m. + HRA
    Job Profile : Student will do cloning and cell culture regularly.

    Computer Science & Engineering
    P(10-2) Development of English to Indian Language Machine Translation
    RA1 : (1 Post) Eligibility : Person should be native speaker of Marathi with MA in Marathi or Linguistics. Prior experience on Natural Language Processing will be an advantage.
    Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.12000-15000/- p.m.
    Job Profile : -Creating Marathi Wordnet based on Hindi Wordnet -Hindi- Marathi and English- Marathi Lexicon creation -Translation between Hindi- Marathi and English- Marathi

    P(10-3) Development and Evolution of Sanskrit WordNet
    RA1 : (1 Post) Eligibility : MA in Sanskrit (vyakarana) preferably with NET. Prior experience on Sanskrit Language Technology, Natural Language Processing will be an advantage.
    Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.10000-12000/- p.m.
    Job Profile : -Creating Sanskrit Synsets from Hindi Wordnet. -Participating in the NLP activities of CFILT with linguistic input.

    Metallurgical Engineering & Materials Science
    P(10-4) Hot-salt Stress Corrosion Cracking Behavior of Gas Turbine Materials
    SRF : (1 Post) Eligibility : B.Tech in metallurgical, materials, mechanical disciplines and MSc Chemistry. Experience with research especially in corrosion science and Engg. is an added advantage
    Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.15000/- p.m. + HRA
    Job Profile : To carryout project work, write reports and any other work related to the project. He or she is encouraged to register for PhD at IITB.

    I have completed my dissertation successfully on “Study the Various Parameters Affecting the Filtration (Dry Filtration) Characteristic of Textile Filter” (Technical Textile) at M. S. University, Baroda.
    Due to the non availability of the standard and reliable apparatus for measuring dust (dry) filtration efficiency, I have fabricated a simple apparatus for measuring the Dry filtration efficiency. I have studied the various parameters such as physical, hydraulic and mechanical characteristics affecting the filtration characteristics of the various filter fabrics (nonwoven). I have derived the theoretical method to determine the pore diameter of the filter fabrics.
