    Job Description
    Candidates should have knowledge of spend analysis,develop plans for reduction in category (across industry verticals)
    -- Using industry / vendor knowledge and sourcing expertise to devise category specific sourcing strategies.
    -- Carry out spend aggregation or vendor consolidation process for identifying costs saving opportunities.
    -- Identify new vendors for removing any sole source situations.
    -- Using appropriate sourcing tools such as E RFX , Reverse Auctions , Catalog platforms , Supplier performance measurement for reducing both -- cost of procurement as well as the spend.
    -- Have sound commercial knowledge to negotiate various contractual terms & conditions such as payment terms, multi year productivity and risk management clauses etc .
    -- Preferable if done LCCS ( Low cost country sourcing ) for their respective category.
    Role Category Experts
    We are looking for sourcing category experts for the following procurement spend categories:
    -- IT Hardware, Telecom and Software
    -- Advertising , Marketing and Print ( Brochures, Annual Reports, Pamphlets , Posters & Booklets )
    -- Freight & Logistics ( Trucking, Airlines, Warehousing , Ocean ) .
    -- Temporary Labor (Including other HR services)
    -- Travel (Airlines, Hotel, Taxis)

    Desired Candidate Profile
    Candidate should come with about 10-15 years of Industry experience with at least 3-5 years of relevant category sourcing experience.
    Candidates from consulting organization having slightly lesser experience (7-9 year) may also apply.
    Candidates having exposure to sourcing globally would be preferred.
    Should have a good understanding of Sourcing processes and tools (platforms), Vendor negotiation and Contract management.
    Softer skills including working in a remote environment and across geographies.
    Preferable Engineering Graduate Or Post Graduate with good communication skills.
    A self-starter with a strong team focus, excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to influence in a non-line role.
