POSITION DESCRIPTION :
1.Job would involve preparation of data sheets for all types of heat exchangers, calculation for the rating and design of heat exchangers, review and coordinate suppliers including vendor drawing review and supervise and direct other exchanger engineer
2. The candidate shall provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers. Candidate shall be managing direct reports, establishing individual performance goals and objectives and reviewing performance against objectives
3. Under broad direction, function as a technical specialist who makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have a far reaching impact on extensive engineering and related activities of the company.
4. Candidates should have extensive experience in thermal design/adequacy check of shell and tube heat exchangers and air fin exchangers with thorough knowledge of HTRI/HTFS software to size exchangers for the refining/petrochemical industry
5. Good experience of Pinch analysis would be an advantage.
6. Work sharing with Houston.
7. Maintains a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all governmental regulations and corporate safety guidelines. Ensures that all personnel assigned to the operations receive appropriate safety training and adhere to all safety standards.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
1. Candidates should be first class graduate chemical/mechanical engineers.
2. 7-10 years of related experience in exchanger design for Chemical/refinery/ Petro chemical plants.
3. Good written and oral communication skills.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS :
Manages key business relationships with clients and with Technology Business Unit
Managerial teams in India and Houston

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS :
Travel 10-15% of time.
