This has reference to the Advertisement released in Loksatta, Maharasthra Times and Sakal on 31stOctober, 2011, inviting applications for the post of Clerk (Marketing & Operations) in Grade B. The detail advertisement is as follows:
FOR ITS BRANCHES IN MUMBAI (400 VACANCIES), THANE (300 VACANCIES) AND PUNE (300 VACANCIES)
The Bank is now looking for energetic and dynamic candidates, residing in Mumbai, Thane and Pune fulfilling the following eligibility norms for recruitment:
Post : Clerk – Marketing & Operations in Grade B
Eligibility Criteria : Age : Below 27 years as on 31st October, 2011. Educational Qualification : Minimum First Class in B.Com. from a reputed University.
The selected candidates will be on probation for six months and during probation, will be paid a consolidated salary of Rs.9,500/- p.m. After acceptable performance, they will be confirmed and on confirmation, the post will carry gross emoluments of around Rs.12,700/- p.m. approx. with annual emoluments of Rs.2.05 Lakhs and other benefits as admissible under the relevant grade.
The services are transferable to any location/office/subsidiary of the Bank.

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria may apply online within seven days, through Bank’s website www.saraswatbank.com after carefully going through the instructions contained in this advertisement.
Procedure to Apply :
Eligible candidates have to apply online through the Bank’s website and no other means/ mode of application is acceptable.Before registering their applications on the website, candidates should possess the following:
* A valid email id for filling in the application. In case the candidate does not have a valid email id, he/ she can create a new email id. This email id should be valid for the duration of the recruitment process.
* Two copies of a recent passport size photograph for pasting on the system generated printout of the application and on the call letter. Valid proof of identity such as College Identity Card/ Pan card / Passport/ Voter ID card/ Driving license/ Permanent Identity card issued by the present employer or any other valid proof of identification with a photograph.
* After applying online, the candidate is required to download the system generated printout of the application. The system generated printout of the application should be signed by the candidate and sent by 31st October, 2011 along with:
Self attested Copies of :
(a)Certificates pertaining to age and educational qualifications.
(b)Residence proof such as ration card, latest electricity bill, latest telephone bill, passport, etc.
(c)Photograph pasted in the given place and signed across.
(d)Salary slips of latest three months, Form No. 16, Copies of appointment letters, promotion letters.
