RECRUITMENT OF SPORTS PERSONS IN GROUP- ‘C’ & ‘D’ CATEGORY IN SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY

South Eastern Railway invites applications from talented and outstanding sportspersons to join South Eastern Railway family. If you fulfil the criteria for following games, please apply within the period specified hereunder with copies of all relevant documents, in the prescribed format for filling up of 12(twelve) vaccines in Gr.- ‘C’ and 04 vacancies in erstwhile Group – ‘D’ Category in the pay Band with Corresponding Grade pay indicated below : -

No. of Vacancy as per pay :- PB-1 Rs.5200 - 20,200/- for Grade pay. Rs.2800/-, 2000/-, 1900/- 12 Nos. & 1800/- 4 Nos.
Total : 16 Nos.

Minimum Sports Norms for recruitment :
Represented the Country in Olympic Games (Category –A) {Olympic Games (Sr. Category)} OR at least 3rd Position in any of the Category -B Champ/events i.e. in the [World Cup (Junior/ Senior Category)/ World Championships (Junior/ Senior Category)/ Asian Games (Senior Category)/ Commonwealth Games (Senior Category)] Championships/event except Gold Medel in Asian Games

Represented the country in any of the Category- C championships/Events Or
At least 3rd position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category) 1800/- Or
Represented a State of equivalent unit, except in Marathon and Cross Country in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships Or
At least 3rd position in Senior State Championships for all units and Districts of the State.

Minimum Educational qualification :
a) For the post having GP Rs.2800/- A University Degree or its equivalent.
b) For the post having GP Rs.1900/- & Rs.2000/- Pass in Matric or its equivalent.
c) For the post having GP Rs.1800/- Pass in Matric or ITI Or its equivalent.

Age Limit : Minimum 18 years - maximum 25 years as on 01.01.2012.

Application as per format given should be submitted on A4 size paper duly filled in by the candidates own handwriting, duly accompanying with attested copies of all certificates and (2) two passport size photograph (one to be pasted in the space of the application form and other to be clipped with the application form) and addressed to the

Any discrepancy found in the application and papers submitted by the applicant will render the application invalid.
