Worked as Secretary of Planning & Information Unit Head in Saline Water Conversion Corporation, Ministry of Water and Electricity, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Desalination & Power Plant, Yanbu-Al Sinaiyah is having 7 Boilers (580 t/h each) and 7 Turbines (84 MW each) with a capacity of 588 MW. In addition to this the world’s largest Reverse Osmosis Plant with the Capacity of 34 Million gallon per day and 9 Desalination plants which puts the overall capacity of the Plant to 100 MG/day of Water.
Saline Water Conversion Corporation, which was established as the primary producer and distributor of potable water, operates 29 plants across the country and has a total installed capacity of 3.3 million cubic meters of water per day. Saline Water Conversion Corporation is also a major contributor to the Saudi electricity grid, with an output of 5,029 megawatts. Today, Saudi Arabia is the largest desalinated water producer in the world.
