INDIAN INSTITUTE OF PULSES RESEARCH
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up the following posts at IIPR, Kanpur and it is Research Centres under the administrative control of ICAR. The posts are temporary, but likely to e continued. The details of the posts, reservation position, qualification age etc, required for the posts are as under :
Post : Stenographer Gr. III
Pay Band & Grade Pay : PB 1 Rs.5200- 20200+2400 GP
No. of Posts : One
Age : 18 – 27 years
Qualification :
1. 12th Class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
2. Candidates will have to qualify written test.
3. The candidates who qualify the written test examination will be eligible for dictation test in English or in Hindi at 80 w.p.m. for 10 minutes. The candidates who opt to take the test in English will be required to transcribe the matter in 50 minutes on computer and the candidates who opt to take the test in Hindi will be required to transcribe the matter 65 minutes on computer.

Pay Band & Grade Pay : PB 1 Rs.5200- 20200+1900 GP

Age : 18 – 27 years
Qualification :
1. 12th Class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
2. Candidates will have to qualify written test.
3. The candidates who qualify the written test examination will be eligible for Type writing test with a minimum speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word)
General instructions for the candidates :
Applications should be submitted strictly as per attached proforma, neatly typewritten, along with passport size photograph.
The candidates fulfilling the essential qualification should send their applications duly filled in all respects (in the given format) to Director, Indian Institute of Pulses Research, Kanpur-24 alonghwith an application fee (Non-refundable) of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One hundred only) by way of a crossed Demand Draft obtained on any nationalized bank in favour of “ICAR UNITIIPR” payble at Kanpur. Women candidate and persons with disabilities are exempted from payment of fee subject to submission of prescribed medical certificate.
Candidates should attach attested copies of certificates & mark sheets with the application.
A Self addressed envelope (11” X 5”) bearing postal stamps worth Rs. 25/- only.
Closing date for receipt of applications is 45 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in the Employment News.

Position- Site Clerks/ Admin Assistant
(Roles and Responsibility)
( The Site Clerk is a key member of the construction team. The Site Clerk service as management’s on site representative on a day to day basis. It’s responsibilities may vary from one project to another. The Site Clerk must have a good understanding of all aspects of construction, although technical skills in any particular construction trade is not necessary. The Site Clerk must maintain a holistic view of the project, While appreciating the details of various parts of the work. The Site Clerk deals with all on site documentation such as delivery dockets, time sheet, health+ safety certificates etc. Handling all enquiries to site. Assisting site management in ordering materials)
Daily Activities
- Issue clock cards during clocking in procedure.
- Conduct physical checks on labour force and record individual activity on time sheet.
- Calculate labour hours per activity and submit time sheet to office.
- Obtain labour requirement from, Site Agent and recruit and sign on labourers when required.
- Complete engagement from UIF etc, and submit to office.
- Allocate jobs to labourers every morning according to site agents instruction.
- Order Supplies from supplier according to requirements.
- Make out requisition for non-standard items and submit to purchaser, Arrange for supplies to be delivered timorously either to store or on site where required.
- On receival of supplies compare delivery note with bill of quantities and quantity delivered.
- Minimize stock holding in store or on site but ensure adequate supplies when required.
- Make out issues note for a specific contractor and per stand, check how much material is being requested versus quantity allowed, conduct a daily stock- take to determine requirements of contractors to be ordered for next day.
- Complete monthly progress report and submit to site agent.
- Maintain store administration.
