Description :
The Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer position is responsible for supporting, monitoring and reporting all associated process health aspects of the software development and test process.
Implementation and training of Software Development and Test QA processes
Creating, monitoring, interpreting and reporting SQA process health metrics
Monitor/audit/facilitate software peer reviews
Determine true root cause of software defects. Identify systemic issues and drive corrective action based on specific and systemic root cause issues
Compile test coverage metrics
Develop risk model based on health metrics
Help mentor others on Development and Testing Best Practices
Work with Development and Test/QA leadership to develop a test approach and strategy for a product and/or suite of products
Work closely with developers to debug/test product features
Execute long duration tasks/assignments, concurrently on 1 or more projects, according to project plans, to meet schedule, quality, and other requirements
Log and track defects using software defect tracking system
Take part in peer and external reviews
Demonstrate proactive ownership of issues and problems
Report regular status of testing (Daily and Weekly)

Desired Candidate Profile :
We are looking for a highly motivated, results-driven technology individual, who has strong technical skills. You should have demonstrated expertise in software test including designing and executing test cases. You should also be proficient with software feature analysis, test case analysis, requirements analysis, software review and defect tracking systems. The candidate must
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Computer Science plus 2 to 4 years of software test experience
Excellent problem solving abilities
Possess strong analytical skills and decision-making capabilities
Software testing experience with an organized and structured approach
A passion for delivering quality product
Good understanding of test methodologies and techniques
Demonstrated command/experience working with Test and Defect Management/Workflow tools
Be familiar with Software Development Life cycle (SDLC) and testing process
Experience testing of applications on web-based, client/server, UNIX and X86, X64 platforms
Experience with SQL queries
Ability to understand database schemas
Experience in white box testing, is a plus
Experience in agile/scrum development methodology
Experience with SOA principles desired
Experience in Scripting languages (Perl, Python, Shell, etc.), is a plus
Experience with applications built on ADF/Flex, Oracle Fusion, Java desired
Prior data center experience preferred
Ability to deal with changing priorities
Excellent written and oral presentation skills, and interpersonal skills are necessary
Must be well organized and able to perform well in a technically complex, global environment
Initiative and drive to continually and rapidly learn new technology and tools
