Farakka Super Thermal Power Station, a Unit of NTPC Limited, requires doctors in the following disciplines to be engaged on ADHOC basis for its Hospital situated at NTPC Farakka Townships.

Discipline : Surgeon
No. of posts : 01
Qualification/ Experience : MBBS + MS
Remuneration(Consolidated) : Rs. 45,500/- (Monthly Fee-Rs 34000-/, Allowances/Reimbursement Rs 11500/-) per month

Discipline : Anesthetist
No. of posts : 02
Qualification/ Experience : MBBS + 1 yr. Experience OR, MBBS + PG Diploma in disciplines other than those mentioned above
Remuneration(Consolidated) : Rs. 32,500/- (Monthly Fee-Rs 24000/- ,Allowances/Reimbursement Rs 8500/-) per month

GENERAL TERMS :.
a) The candidates shall be engaged on adhoc basis initially for a period of 6 (six) months from the date of engagement.
b) The candidates thus engaged are eligible for free medical facilities for self and rent free bachelor’s accommodation in our township.
c) The engagement shall be on full time basis and no private practice, during the period of engagement, shall be allowed.
d) 06 days Casual Leave during six months of adhoc engagement is also permissible.
e) Candidates appearing in interview from outstation (beyond 30 KM) will be paid TA as per Corporation’s Rules.

I am currently a Consultant in Orthopaedics and Traumatology, Joint replacements, and spine surgery at SETHI HOSPITAL SITAPUR (UP),India
Dr. GAGAN SETHI,age 38 years did his MBBS with hounors from KING GEORGE MEDICAL COLLEGE, LUCKNOW and MS (Ortho) from the JAWAHARLAL NEHRU MEDICAL COLLEGE, AJMER.
After my masters degree I received extensive training in orthopedics, traumatology joint replacement and spine surgery from P.D. Hinduja National Hospital & Medical Research Centre MUMBAI INDIA.
I DID MY FELLOWSHIP IN JOINT REPLACEMENT FROM P.D. Hinduja National Hospital & Medical Research Centre MUMBAI INDIA.
My major interest is the
medical and surgical management of arthritis like joint replacements
and surgery for fracture of limbs especially surgery around the hip joint.

DHS for intertrochantric fractures,
close inter lock nailing for fractures of long bones,

I have presented a paper on CONTROLLED DIFFRACTIONAL AND FRACTIONAL DISTRACTION FOR CORRECTION OF RESISTANT RIGID AND RELAPSED CLUBFOOT at the Indian orthopaedic national conference (IOACON 2000).
After my masters degree I have attended many conferences an has interacted with many national and international surgeons to keep himself up dated with the latest trends in orthopaedics.
