    RECRUITMENT AGAINST SCOUTS & GUIDES QUOTA - 2011-12 IN GROUP 'C' & 'D' CATEGORIES IN SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY

    Closing Date : 08-11-2011

    Applications on plain paper in the given format, are invited from the citizens of India for filling up 02 posts in Group 'C' category in scale: Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade pay - Rs.1900/- or Rs.2000/- and 10 Erstwhile Group - 'D' posts in various categories in scale Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade pay - Rs.1800/- from the eligible and meritiorious Scouts & Guides candidates in the prescribed format. The candidates having no Scouts & Guides Qualification need not apply.

    Educational Qualification :
    Group-'C' :
    For NTPC- Minimum Matriculation or equivalent examination with 50% marks in aggregate. The stipulation of 50% marks is not applicable having higher than Matriculation Quallification and SC/ST candidates.
    For Technical Categories : Passed out Act Apprenticeship/ITI. Certificate of Act Apprenticeship/ITI must be approved by SCVT/NCVT.No other qualification including Diploma in Engineering will be accepted as an alternative qualification.
    N.B. Candidate must possess Scouting/guidling Qualification as in Para-3.
    Age Limit :
    UR : 18-30 Years
    OBC : 18-33 Years
    SC/ST : 18-35 Years

    Group-'D':
    10th Pass or ITI or equivalent.
    N.B. Candidate must possess Scouting/guidling Qualification as in Para-3.
    Age Limit :
    UR : 18-33 Years
    OBC : 18-36 Years
    SC/ST : 18-38 Years

    Last Date for Receipt of Application : 08.11.2011

    Examination Fee :
    The Examination fee for unreserved and OBC candidates is Rs.40/-.
    Candidates belonging to SC/ST, PWD & Women, Minority Communities are exempted from payment of examination fee.
