    Applications are invited in the prescribed format from Indian citizens for recruitment in posts having Pay Band-1 of Rs.5200-20200 in ICF against Sports Quota satisfying the eligibility criteria viz. specified achievements in the field, Age & Educational qualification for the post applied. No relaxation is possible in age and educational qualification requirements.

    Scale Pay : Grade Pay Rs.1900 in Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200
    Qualification : Course completed Act Apprenticeship/ITI in the relevant Trade.

    Scale Pay : Grade Pay Rs. 1,800/- in Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200
    Qualification : 10th Std Pass or ITI or equivalent

    Age Limit :
    Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01.01.2012. i.e Sports person should have been born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.1994. No relaxation in lower or upper age limit is permissible.

    Fee :
    A fee of Rs.40/- (Rupees Forty only) should be paid only through crossed Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Asst. Personnel Officer/ICF payable at Chennai. Candidates must write their name, full address at the space provided in the postal order. The fee is not refundable under any circumstances. SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying fees.

    How to apply :
    Applications should be strictly in the prescribed format as appended, shall be filled in an A4 size GSM Bond paper. The application format is also available in the ICF website www.icf.indianrailways.gov.in Along with the application form, an IPO for an amount of Rs.40/- should be enclosed. Attested photocopies of the following documents should be enclosed :
    (a) Proof of Educational Qualification.
    (b) Proof of Date of Birth {any one of Birth Certificate, Std X- TC, Matric mark list}.
    (c) SC/ST/OBC certificate in the format as prescribed in the Central Government order. If proof is not enclosed such candidates will be considered as Unreserved candidates, provided fee is paid, otherwise application will be rejected.
    (d) Department / Government service candidates must enclose a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the employer.
    (e) Necessary testimonials concerning the Sports activities up to the date of application.
    The application along with the above enclosures, duly attested by a Gazetted Officer, should be tied and put in an envelope. On top of the envelope "Application for Sports Recruitment – Category " should be written in Block letters and write the category applied for. It should be addressed to the
