RECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF PA, JIO-II/WT AND JIO-II/EDP- 2011

On-line applications are invited for the following posts in Intelligence Bureau (Ministry of Home Affairs), Government of India to be filled through direct recruitment from amongst the candidates fulfilling the eligibility conditions as indicated below :-

Name of the post : Personal Assistant (P.A.)
Number of vacancies : 58
Educational Qualification : Matriculation from a recognized Board with proficiency in Stenography (100 words per minute)
Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800/- (Pay Scale) + Rs.4600/- (GP) + allowance as per Central Govt. rates

Name of the post : Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II (Wireless Telegraphy)
Number of vacancies : 198
Educational Qualification : Matriculation in Physics and Mathematics with two years Industrial Training Institute pass certificate in any of the following trades:-
i)Electronic Mechanic
ii)Information Technology and Electronic System maintenance
iii)Electrician
iv)Mechanic Computer Hardware
v)Mechanic (Radio & TV)
vi)Mechanic cum operator of Electronic Communication system.
Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200/- (Pay Scale) + Rs.2400/- (GP) + allowance as per Central Govt. rates

Name of the post : Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II (Electronics Data Processing)
Number of vacancies : 06
Educational Qualification :
(i) 12th Standard pass or equivalent
(ii) Training in computer operations for, at least, three months from recognised Institutions and possess a speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour for Data Entry work.
Note : Speed of 8000 key depressions per hour for Data Entry work would be judged by conducting a speed test on EDP Machines by the Competent Authority.
Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200/- (Pay Scale) + Rs.2400/- (GP) + allowance as per Central Govt. rates

Age : Between 18-27 years as on closing date of application for all post.

Candidates can apply for any or more of the three posts provided he/she fulfils the prescribed eligibility conditions. There will be a common written test (objective type multiple choice) for the posts of JIO-II/WT, JIO-II/EDP and PA. The written examination (descriptive type) for the post of PA will be held separately in 2nd shift.. Depending upon the number of vacancies in these posts, the candidates, who are short listed on the basis of their performance in the written examination, would be called for skill test and practical test –cum- interview separately for each post.

Closing Date :30 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News. Therefore, On-Line registration will become active from the date of publication of the advertisement till 2400 hours of the closing date
