APPOINTMENT OF ASSISTANT PROFESSORS (PERMANENT)
UNDER RESERVED PwD CATEGORY

Jesus & Mary College is a Christian Minority Institution. Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the following posts of Assistant Professor in various Departments on permanent basis under the reserved PwD (VH/OH) Category.

Essential Qualifications :
1. Good academic record with atleast 55% or an equivalent grade of B on the 7 point scale with letter grades O,A,B,C,D,E, & F at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University (Relaxation of 5% marks (from 55% to 50%) at Master’s level to the physically handicapped persons shall be granted for the post of Lecturer in terms of E.C. Resolution No. 37(2) dated 01.05.2003).
2. Candidates should have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) for the Lecturer/Assistant Professors conducted by the UGC/CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC.

General Conditions :
Posts reserved for physically handicapped candidates will be filled before other posts.
Candidates already in service must apply through proper channel.
The College reserves the right to call a limited number of applicants for interview based on their qualifications and experience.
The College reserves the right to change the number and nature of posts and not to fill up any of the vacancies advertised.

The LAST DATE of receipt of applications alongwith requisite documents (as mentioned above) would be 15 days from the date of the publication of the advertisement in Employment News (Rozgaar Samachar). Relaxation of five days will be given only to applicants residing in North Eastern States/Far flung areas. Applications received after the last date will not be entertained.
