Application are invited from the outstanding SportsMan for the recruitment against Sports Quota in Group ‘D’ category(in pay band Rs.5200-20,200 with grade pay Rs.1800/-) by Lucknow Division of Northern Railway Lucknow. The recruitment will be done in following games/sports for men only.

Age limit : Above 18 years and below 25 years as on 01.01.2012.
Nationality : Indian only.
Educational Qualification : Minimum 10th standards pass or equivalent

Sports Qualification :-
Represented the country in any of the following Championship/Event.
(i) Commonwealth Championship (Junior/Senior Category)
(ii) Asion Championships/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior Category)
(iii) South Asian Federations(SAF)Games(Senior Category)
(iv) USIC(World Railways) Championships (Senior Category)
OR At least 3rd Position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category)
OR Represented a State or equivalent Unit,except in Marathon and Cross Country in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships.
OR At least 3rd Position in Senior State Championships for all Units and Districts of the State.

Applications to be addressed to Divisional Sports officer DRM Office, Northern Railway, Hazratganj, Lucknow.

Applications may be sent by post or in person to Divl. Sports Secy. Sports Cell DRM Office Lucknow between 2 P.M. to 5 P.M. on any working day from the date of publication. The last date of submission of the application will be 30.11.2011.

Each application must be accompanied by a bank draft of Rs. 40/- (Rs. Forty only) as processing fee drawn in favour of “ Hony. Treasure D.S.A. N. Rly. Lukcnow “ payable at Lucknow. No fee above shall be charged from SC/ST community candidates..

Sports achievements will be considered for last three years only i.e. 2009-10, 2010-11 and 2011-12.
