PROJECT - I - : “V-SAT Linked Seismic Network for Seismic Hazard Studies in Garhwal Himalaya” under the supervision of Dr. Ajay Paul, Scientist “C? . The tenure of the project is upto: 11.11.2013.

1. POSITION : RESEARCH ASSOCIATE: 01 (One)
Remuneration : ` 22,000/- p.m. consolidated plus admissible House Rent Allowance, which is at present @20%. Sufficient supporting contingent grant for field work etc. will be provided.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years as on 27.10.2011
Essential Qualification : First class in M.Tech/M.Sc. in Geology/ Geophysics / Physics/Computer Science .
Desirable : Ph.D in Geology/ Geophysics / Physics/Computer Science and field experience in handling of seismic equipments.

POSITION : JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW: 01 (One)
Remuneration : ` 12,000/- p.m. consolidated plus admissible House Rent Allowance (HRA), which is at present @ 20% during the first and second year and ` 14,000/- p.m. consolidated plus admissible H.R.A. during subsequent years, subject to satisfactory performance. In case the performance of the selected candidate is not found to be satisfactory, the fellowship can be terminated. Sufficient supporting continent grant for field work etc. will be provided.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 28 years as on 27.10.2011.
Essential Qualification : First class in M.Sc./M.Tech Geology/ Geophysics/ Physics/ Computer Science

PROJECT SCIENTIST-B : 01 (one)
Pay Scale : Rs. ` 15,600 - ` 39,100 - Grade pay ` 5400 plus admissible allowances.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years as on 27.10.2011.
Essential Qualification : 1st Class M.Sc./ M.Tech in Geophysics/Physics with at
least 3 years work experience in any modern areas of earthquake related sciences.
Desirable : The candidates having Ph. D in relevant area and experience in installation, operation and maintenance of seismological and geophysical equipments and data processing will be preferred.
