Filling up of various posts by deputation in Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI)

Inland Waterways Authority of India, an autonomous body under Ministry of Shipping was formed by an Act of Parliament and is entrusted with the responsibility of development and maintenance of fairway in National Waterways for the purpose of navigation.

It is proposed to fill up the following posts on deputation basis in the Authority:-

Name of the post : Project Director
Pay Band + Grade Pay : PB-IV (Rs.37,400-67,00/- +Rs.8700/- (Grade Pay)
No. of Posts : 01
Educational Qualifications :
(i) Degree in Civil/Marine/Mechanical Engineering /Naval, Architecture from a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) 15 years experience in a supervisory capacity out of which at least 5 years. In the next level in Investigations, planning, design and construction of Marine structure/river engineering works including repair and maintenance.

Name of the post : Deputy Director (Project)
Pay Band + Grade Pay : PB-III (Rs.15,600-39,100/- + Rs.6600/- (Grade Pay)
No. of Posts : 04
Educational Qualifications :
Essential :-
(ii) Degree in Civil/Marine/Mechanical Engineering /Naval, Architecture from a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) 5 years experience in a supervisory capacity in investigations, designs planning and construction of Civil Engineering works including its repair and maintenance;
