AMBEDKAR UNIVERSITY, DELHI (AUD)
RECRUITMENT POSITION OF REGISTRAR

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Registrar in Pay Band 4 Rs.37400-67000 with Grade Pay of Rs.10000 so as to reach the undersigned latest by Monday 17 October 2011. Essential Qualifications are as per UGC norms as adopted by the Board of Management of AUD from time to time.

Essential Qualifications :
1. A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale.(5% relaxation in qualifying marks at master’s level i.e. from 55% to 50% of marks, shall be given to candidates belonging to SC/ST or those who are physically disabled and those who are already in the University system).
2. At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Grade Pay of Rs.7000 or above, including 8 years of experience as Associate Professor in the cademic Grade Pay of Rs.8000 or above, alongwith experience in educational administration.
Or Comparable experience in Research Establishments and other institutions of Higher Education
Or 15 years of administrative experience out of which 8 years should be as Deputy Registrar or on an equivalent post in a University or Government Organization.

Desirable Qualification :
1 Experience of effective participation in the building of an educational institution. Ability to work as a member of a team of professionals committed to translating the vision of a new university into reality.
2 Experience of e-governance.

Job Description :
The Registrar should have wide ranging experience in all aspects of University management. Registrar will also perform such duties as have been specified in the University Act, Statutes, Ordinances, Rules and Regulations and as may be required by the statutory bodies and the Vice-Chancellor.
