    After the completion of my specialty training in psychiatry, I have joined as Asst. Prof. of Psychiatry at JSS Medical College, Mysore (India) in 1998. In addition to teaching under graduate and post graduate medical students, and psychiatric residents, I have participated in descriptive and clinical trials research conducted within the department . I have participated in multi-site randomized and double blind placebo controlled clinical trials (RCTs) as a Sub-investigator/Co-Investigator in both III & IV phase. I have been trained in ICH GCP guidelines, and have also been trained to conduct ratings using the commonly used rating scales in psychiatry. I am being invited as a Co-investigator to a US-India Grant Application this year to conduct RCTs.
