Filling up of the post of Chief Executive Officer in Price Stabilization Fund Trust, New Delhi under the Department of Commerce in the pay scale of Rs. 18400-22400/-(prerevised) on deputation basis.

It has been decided to fill up the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Price Stabilization Fund Trust (PSFT), in the pay scale of Rs. 18400-22400/-(pre-revised) on deputation basis. Accordingly, applicants with the following eligibility criteria may apply :

Any officer, working in the Central/State Govt., eligible to hold the post of Joint Secretary to the Government of India, having equivalent pay scales of Rs. 18,40022,400/-(pre-revised).
(ii) The candidate should belong to Indian Administrative Service or any other organized service.
(iii) The officer should have experience of working in finance/commodity boards/agriculture/foreign trade.
(iv) The period of deputation will be initially for a period of three years, which may be extended upto five years or till further orders, whichever is earlier, and in the case of lAS, it would be covered by Rule 6(2)(ii) of lAS cadre rules.
(v) The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be, not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

The role is responsible for largely managing the central excise work e.g.Complition of R G 1 register taking CENVET CREDIT, on inputs, Capital goods, and also Service Tax,, job work record (incoming/out going) etc.. Preparations of monthly return in form E R 1as well as ER-4,ER-5 ER-6,ER-7, and also half yearly service tax return. .
- To manage the Cenvat, account on inputs, Capital goods and Service tax
- Prepare monthly return in E R 1. (And half yearly return of Service Tax.)
- Calculation of duty payable and coordinate with accounts for duty if any.
- Coordinate with accounts for Service Tax payments.
- Liasoning with excise authorities.
- To attend the of audits by of Central Excise,/ A. G.( U.P.) also, internal auditt teams .
Submission of the legal documents
- Creating a monthly list of dispatches
- Check that the Excise duty/ Sale Tax are charged correctly on invoices.
- Check the total amount of Service Tax is payable.
- Maintain records for all documents.
1. all excise records should be updated on day to-day basis.e.g.daily production records(R.G.1) job workregister,Cenvet credit amounts.
2. Preparation of monthly return (E.R.1) to be submitted on 10th of every month to the excise Deptt.
3. Reconciliation of CENVET amount with account Deptt. Up to 20th of every month.
4. Service Tax returns to be filed. (Half yearly basis.)
5. Saving on freight by using by company vehicles, on monthly basis.
6. Ensuring that all documents are ed in the system as day to-day basis.
7. Supervising excise related work of other units at Noida e,g prepares the submission of monthly return& updating of records. .
