Applications are invited for Teaching-Cum-Research Fellowships (TRF’s)

Ambedkar Institute of Technology (AIT), Geeta Colony, Delhi is one of the Technical Institutes established by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi with well equipped modern laboratories, well laid down ‘Profile of Growth’ and strong commitment for achieving excellence in Technical Education. It is one of the leading engineering institutes under the umbrella of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

Applications are invited for the four posts of Teaching cum research fellowships (TRF) with a fellowships of Rs 20,000/- per month for first two years and Rs 20,000/- per annum as contingency grant and Rs 25,000/- per month for the next two years with Rs 25,000/- per annum as contingency grant. The candidates thus selected will pursue their Ph.D. degree from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and will assist in teaching for UG and PG Courses at AIT.

Areas of research will be :
1. Microwave and RF Circuits and Systems
2. Microwave Antennas and Phased Array Design
3. Signal Processing
4. Analog Microelectronics and Signal Processing
5. Physics/Materials Science/Nano Materials

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA : First Class (60% and above) B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering/ M.Sc (Physics/Applied Physics/ Materials Science) and First Class (60% and above) M.Tech. in relevant specialization and valid GATE/NET Score.

“Digital Phase Selector” Worked on PCB design, assembled using different components & testing in my Final Year as Major Project.
Work Experience :
- Working as a Project Assistant on the research & development of microwave device for space applications in CEERI,Pilani since May’2009
- I have done Technical Apprentice in Central Electronics Limited, Sahibabad,(U.P.) from 9 May ’08 to till 8 May ’09.
Skills :
- Good command in Digital Electronics (logical gates, combinational & sequential circuits.), Basic Electronics and Electronics Devices & Circuits.
Industrial Intreaction :
- Worked on different high temperature furnaces (500-2000 deg C) during fabrication of ” Dispenser Cathode”
