Position & Period of service : Operator – Process From July-2010 to till date
Job summary :
To operate and monitor the polyester batch, chips cutter related field equipment and parameter in the assigned areas of various polys as per the standard operating instruction as per guidance/instruction of shift supervisor.
Polymerization Experience :
Monitoring of batch preparation, parameters adjusting of various parameters/flow rates as per the quality of chips required.
Recording various parameters (readings) in the log book at regular.
Sampling of the catalyst and additive batch and re-sampling of abnormality.
To co-ordinate with supervisor/distribution control system operator and perform all operational jobs in his area (i.e.) equipment change over, isolation handing over to maintenance, restarting after maintenance cleaning of catalyst filter and strainers etc.
To observe safety of the plant self and other working in his assigned area.
Responsibilities at IBN rushd :
- The job will also involve shifting of empty catalyst buckets catalyst buckets and waste bags from batch preparation areas to safe.
- Shifting catalyst and additives raw materials from ground floor to designated locations (or) store room.

EDC Purification plant:
To control and monitor pressure, temperature, steam reflux rates, product purify in the crude EDC distillation columns. (Distillation column – Atmospheric column, pressure column, Vacuum column)
VCM Plant:
To control and monitor cracking furnace, HCL, VCM, Lights and Heavy ends column operations.
Panel operations:
Experience in the operation of Distributed Control System supplied by Fox boro, I/A Series. Also have experience in the operation of Pneumatic control system and digital control system.
Oxidation & Chlorination Experience:
Experience in the field of panel controlling of the operation of oxidation of ETHYLENE, HCL and chlorination of ETHYLENE to form EDC which is exothermic reaction
