Description : In this paper, the users are allowed to select their web cam from remote location to view latest snapshot of the web cam images. The remote application directs web cam to take snapshot in order of frames these frames will be send to remote user. Media streaming in mobile also reduces the end-to-end latency of scrolling web pages at DSL speeds. State-of-the-art lossless compression methods have enabled thin client computing across WAN. Finally the new codec TCC-M used here, typically compresses more than 50 to 950 times more efficiently than previously used codec TCC.

FRACTAL IMAGE COMPRESSION BASED ON QUAD TREE METHOD USING DCT
Duration : 3 Months.

Software : Matlab R2010b.
Venue : Rrase College of Engineering.
Description : In this paper, a fast classification algorithm namely DCT coefficient is proposed. Simulation results show that the runtime of proposed algorithm is reduced greatly compared to existing methods. At the same time, the new algorithm also achieved high PSNR values.
