The ideal candidate will have :

1+ years practical engineering experience in building large-scale web-based applications using the latest standards-based approaches
Intermediate-level knowledge of standards-based markup and styling (HTML, CSS)
Intermediate-level knowledge of Object Oriented Javascript (DOM manipulation, Ajax, JSON, Event Handling)
Intermediate-level knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and browser degradation strategies
Solid experience in Javascript framework such as YUI, JQuery Prototype
Excellent verbal and written communications.

Top candidates may also have some of the following :
Good sense of what is required of a great user interface and experience
Familiarity or experience with Services Oriented Architecture and RESTful web services development
Experience with design patterns (especially frontend design patterns and anti-patterns)
Familiarity or experience with Agile engineering practices (test driven development, continuous integration and pair programming, etc.)
Good understanding of web technologies (HTTP, Apache, MySQL, HTTP Proxies) and familiarity with Unix/Linux
